Der Radeon Chip löst den in die Jahre gekommenen Rage 128 sowie den Rage 128 Pro ab. Ebenfalls wie beim Rage 128/128 Pro sind mehrere Varianten erhältlich: Radeon 64 MB DDR VIVO,Radeon 32 MB DDR,Radeon 32 MB SDR,Radeon VE sowie ALL-IN-WONDER Radeon. Bei der von uns getesteten Radeon 64 MB VIVO handelt sich es sich um eine Retail Version. Der Unterschied zur Bulk Version ist hauptsächlich der geringer getaktete Speicher und Core (166/166 MHz) und andere Speichermodule (6ns statt 5,5ns). Hauptneuerung zum Rage 128 sind die T&L Einheit, Emboss-, Dot 3 Product- sowie Environment Mapped Bump Mapping, Charisma Engine und Pixel Tapestry Architecture.
